Head of Community and Fundraising

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Community and Fundraising efforts at Place2Be. As the Head of Community and Fundraising, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to drive income growth and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Fundraising: Develop and execute a robust fundraising plan to increase team income, ensuring alignment with Place2Be's overall business strategy. Oversee new business activities and ensure all initiatives are rigorously evaluated.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including supporters, internal teams, and external networks.
- Finance and Reporting: Manage the Community and Events programme within budget, monitor income and expenditure, and provide clear monthly reports.
- Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, set targets, and ensure team members meet their objectives and grow in their roles.
- Proven experience in achieving significant income targets.
- Ability to develop and drive forward growth through strategic planning.
- Leadership and management experience with a commitment to staff development.
- Extensive project management experience in mass participation income-generating activities.
- Strong understanding of finance and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial skills with a flexible, 'can-do' approach.
