About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application and Release Specialist to join our IT team at Orbit Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning the cross-technology domain release management process and environment strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and enforce release management processes and policies.
  • Coordinate release program activities, including cross-domain release integration testing and assessment of release production worthiness.
  • Act as the gatekeeper to the production environment, ensuring conformance to policies and operational processes.
  • Define and agree a release management strategy with third parties and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure adequate checks are in place and completed ahead of any release, including managing associated business and technical risks.
Requirements
  • Release Management experience for both Agile and Waterfall projects.
  • Knowledge of environment considerations for Power Platform, MS Dynamics 365 CE, MS Dynamics F&O, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Microsoft DevOps, including pipelines and automation.
  • Experienced in the practices of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
