Crimson is seeking a highly skilled Release & Transition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the deployment and transition process into business as usual throughout the service lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the release policy, including planning, scheduling, defining scope, raising change requests, and managing resources.
  • Ensure that release objectives are in line with both business and customer requirements.
  • Track and report on release progress, quality, risks, and issues.
  • Manage third-party testing suppliers and work closely with the Test Manager and Technical Change Managers to oversee all technical change implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and transition.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful release and transition outcomes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in release management and transition.
  • Experience with ITIL processes related to Release, Change, and Configuration Management, or project management expertise.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based Azure services.
  • Validating the statuses in Azure ADO are correct prior to release.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders across various functions and organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with DevOps or comparable collaboration tools for release delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall) and testing methodologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in overseeing test partners.
