Release Deployment and Service Transition Specialist

Xpertise Recruitment is working with a well-respected professional services organisation to source an experienced IT professional for a newly formed role within their Solutions Development & Delivery team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Technical Change team and continuous improvement within the team/release process
  • Managing the release deployment and service transition process to BAU
  • Own the release policy, plan, schedule, scope and resources
  • Ensure that the release objectives align with the businesses and customer's needs
  • Managing the service transition processes with the support from the technical change team
  • Ensuring the statuses in Azure ADO are correct prior to release
  • Liaising with business stakeholders, development teams, 3rd parties and clients
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience of ITIL processes for release and change management or project management
  • Experience of DevOps or similar collaboration tools to deliver releases
  • Strong understanding of the full SDLC and release management principles
  • Effective leadership and mentorship skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working within the professional services sector ideal but not essential
