Overview: SF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Financial Administration Assistant to provide support during a maternity leave period. This role is integral to our finance team and will involve collaboration with various stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Daily Banking Operations: Manage daily banking tasks, including bank administration and reconciliation.
  • Overheads Management: Handle group overhead accounting, reporting, analysis, and journal entries.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist the Financial Controller with month-end accounting and reporting.
  • Finance Queries Management: Oversee a shared inbox for payroll, expenses, and other finance-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with internal service level agreements.
  • Database Maintenance: Ensure that QuickBooks and other databases are accurately maintained, including customer and supplier records.
  • VAT Support: Assist the Financial Controller with VAT accounting and submissions.
  • Invoice Processing: Support the processing of invoices, purchase orders, sales invoices, and manage credit control as necessary.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.

Work Environment: The finance team typically operates from the office, benefiting from a pleasant working atmosphere, although hybrid working arrangements are available if needed.
