Swimming Teacher Opportunity
We Are Swim is seeking a passionate and skilled Swimming Teacher to join our team in York, North Yorkshire.
About the Role:
As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children aged 3-11 years, inspiring them to develop their swimming skills and confidence in the water.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons, adhering to our scheme of work and lesson plans
- Integrate our reward schemes into classes to motivate swimmers
- Ensure safe provision of equipment and its correct use
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments and maintain safety standards in sessions
- Assess swimmers' abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential
- Provide explanations and demonstrate modern swimming techniques
- Develop swimmers' techniques and identify ways to improve performance
- Create a positive and fun environment to motivate and encourage swimmers
- Evaluate sessions and provide feedback
- Regularly assess swimmers' progress and arrange for certificates using our online portal
