Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team at the University of York. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, teach, and assess swimming lessons for students aged 6 months upwards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and enjoyable learning experience for students
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of swimming programs and initiatives
Requirements
- Current Level 2 Swimming Instructor qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
