This is an exciting opportunity to work with a close-knit team of specialist journalists at Media Contacts Ltd, a reputable company for reporting on fixed-income deals worldwide.

As a senior editor, you will lead in reporting across Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As an expert in credit markets, you will leverage your knowledge and contacts to break news ahead of the competition. Alongside your reporting responsibilities, you will work with journalists, helping them develop and confirm leads and editing their copy for publication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your network of bankers, private equity executives, and advisors to break news on leveraged finance deals across emerging markets.
  • Mentor and develop reporters, as well as edit their copy to ensure high-quality content.
  • Attend international conferences to develop your knowledge and network in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Experience reporting on leveraged finance, with a strong understanding of the market.
  • Some copy-editing experience, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
