Service Desk Support Specialist – Financial Technology Leader

Harrington Starr is seeking a skilled Service Desk Support Specialist to join their team in London. As a key member of the financial services technology team, you will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for both onsite users and remote workers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a major player in the FX space, providing technical support for a variety of systems and applications. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering exceptional service and support to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for onsite users and remote workers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Work with the technical team to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of technical systems and applications, including Office 365, Azure AD, Windows, and Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with the service desk team to ensure that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical procedures and processes to improve the overall quality of service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, providing technical support in a corporate environment.
  • Solid knowledge of technical systems and applications, including Office 365, Azure AD, Windows, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with service desk systems, such as Service Now or similar.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
