As a Principal UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our upcoming game. Your expertise and strategic vision will be instrumental in crafting intuitive and engaging gameplay experiences that captivate players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design seamless user flows for complex interactions within the game world.
  • Develop intuitive HUD layouts that enhance core gameplay mechanics.
  • Collaborate closely with UI designers, artists, and engineers to ensure a cohesive and player-centric design vision.
  • Champion accessibility throughout the development process, making our games enjoyable for all players.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging UX technologies, integrating innovative practices into our workflows.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing user experiences for published game projects.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX wireframe projects, including games or interactive experiences.
  • Expertise in UX design tools and methodologies such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Experience implementing UX designs within game engines.
  • A genuine passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and preferences.
  • In-depth knowledge of target platforms, user input devices, language & localization considerations.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working on both full-price and free-to-play game projects.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation for UI elements.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
