Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UX Designer to lead the design and implementation of user-centered solutions that captivate players and elevate the quality and success of our game. As a key member of our design team, you will redefine gaming excellence and set new industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implementation
    • Design intuitive UX experience flows for complex user journeys and interactions.
    • Design intuitive HUD layout to support core gameplay.
  • Collaboration and Alignment
    • Collaborate with the immediate UI team and the wider Design, Art, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with project goals and player expectations.
  • Accessibility and Innovation
    • Champion accessibility throughout the project and design vision.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in UX design, integrating innovative practices and technologies into our processes.

Requirements

  • Experience and Expertise
    • Previous experience working on published game projects.
    • Extensive experience in UX design, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX wireframe projects, including games or interactive experiences.
  • Skills and Tools
    • Expertise in UX design tools and methodologies like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
    • Experience of implementing UX to game engine.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and preferences.
    • Tacit UX knowledge of target platforms, user input devices, language, and localisation.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience of working on both full-price and free-to-play game projects.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation for UI elements.
