As a Principal UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our flagship game, leveraging your expertise to create engaging and intuitive interactions that captivate players and elevate the game's quality and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement user-centered solutions that align with project goals and player expectations.
  • Collaborate with the UI team and wider Design, Art, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
  • Champion accessibility throughout the project, ensuring that our game is inclusive and enjoyable for all players.
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in UX design, integrating innovative practices and technologies into our processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in UX design, with a track record of delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX wireframe projects, including games or interactive experiences.
  • Expertise in UX design tools and methodologies, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Experience of implementing UX to game engine.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and preferences.
  • Tacit UX knowledge of target platforms, user input devices, language & localisation, etc.

Desirable:

  • Experience working on both full-price and free-to-play game projects.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation for UI elements.
  • Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator experience.
