Electronics Field Service Engineer, Medical Diagnostic Systems

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Field Service Engineer to join our team as a Medical Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Install, repair, and calibrate medical laboratory diagnostics systems, including autoimmune diagnostics, immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology, and immunodiagnostics systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery and system performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity, preferably in a high-value capital equipment environment.
  • Strong technical background in electronics, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of ONC level qualification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel extensively, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
