Your skills andexperiences:

The role holder will have adegree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or strongly relatedsubject, and have experience in one or more of the followingareas:

  • Previous experience of operating in a defence or highsafety integrityenvironment Experience of generatingcomponent level designs for introduction into volume productionusing computer-aidedengineering Demonstrable expertise inanalogue circuitanalysis Sound understanding of basicanalogue signal processing techniques such as activefiltering Understanding of good powersupply discipline anddecoupling Experience of analogue todigital and digital to analogueconversion Integration, design proving anddefect resolution

Desirables:

  • Experience in, Fibre Optics, Power electronics, Test andmeasurement techniques would beadvantageous Ability to work with a PCBdesigner and advise on circuit layout forEMC CEng or equivalent level ofcapability or working towards CEngstatus
