Job Title: Head Chef Indian Cuisine

Welcome to Goldstar Chefs, a leading recruitment agency for the hospitality industry. We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our client's team in Glasgow City Centre.

The successful candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a team of chefs, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chefs and manage kitchen operations
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine
  • Source and purchase high-quality ingredients
  • Manage kitchen budgets and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic Indian cuisine
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring, and formulation
  • Industrial training in a world-renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in a Head Chef role
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Computer literacy and sound financial/business acumen
