Role Overview

We are seeking a Principal Communications and Engagement Consultant who is passionate about driving impactful marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our communications strategy and enhancing public understanding of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage comprehensive, insight-driven communication campaigns that focus on customer engagement and behaviour change.
  • Develop content that highlights the value of our services, promotes water conservation, and addresses environmental challenges.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure cohesive messaging across multiple channels, including digital platforms, traditional media, and community events.
  • Oversee the execution of high-profile campaigns, ensuring they align with our corporate objectives and resonate with our audience.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability within the department.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • A strong background in social marketing with a proven track record of delivering measurable behaviour change.
  • Expertise in utilizing various media platforms, including TV, radio, digital, and social media, to maximize campaign reach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Experience in budget management and agency collaboration.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid working model, with opportunities for travel to various locations as needed. A valid driving license is preferred for site visits and stakeholder meetings.
