About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team at oilandgas. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a positive Health, Safety, and Environmental culture in the workplace. You will work closely with site teams and managers to identify hazards, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent HSE guidance, training, and support across all departments to foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Identify hazards, minimize risks, and ensure timely incident investigations with effective corrective actions.
  • Lead compliance audits for ISO 14001 and 45001, and maintain the HSE management system in line with relevant standards.
  • Conduct HSE awareness campaigns and monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on-site.
  • Manage occupational health provisions, emergency responses, and industrial hygiene surveys as per local legislation.
  • Oversee third-party contractor HSE compliance.

Environmental Responsibilities:

  • Regularly review and update environmental impact assessments, monitoring key aspects and objectives.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain HSE management systems and ensure all HSE data is accurately entered into company systems.
  • Conduct necessary HSE training, including site inductions for new hires and contractors.
  • Ensure HSE noticeboards are current and relevant, and participate in HSE communications and committee meetings.
  • Stay updated on HSE legislation, liaise with relevant authorities, and contribute to internal audits and inspections.

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Desirable:
    • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
    • Working experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
