If you have a passion for marketing and a proven track record in behavior change initiatives, particularly within both public and private sectors, we are interested in your expertise.

Our operations are essential to the daily lives of millions, and the Corporate Affairs team plays a crucial role in keeping our stakeholders informed and maintaining their trust in our services. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in high-visibility projects, from addressing major incidents to advancing our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhancing our campaign portfolio, which has expanded significantly in recent years.

As the steward of Scotland's water resources and wastewater treatment, collaboration with customers and communities is vital to shaping a sustainable future. Our high-profile campaigns address critical issues such as water efficiency, preventing sewer blockages, and proper waste disposal.

We aim to foster a greater appreciation among customers for the essential services we provide.

  • A background in social marketing with measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various media platforms, including TV, radio, digital, outdoor advertising, events, social media, public relations, and influencer engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build communication strategies based on insights and a commitment to evaluating campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience in agency management and budget oversight.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and developing team members.

Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and complex environment. A strong focus on achieving results is also crucial.

Work Environment

This role offers hybrid working arrangements and requires travel. A valid driving license is preferred for visiting various Scottish Water locations, attending events, and meeting with stakeholders.
