About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a DC Outbound Planner. As a key member of our Supply Chain Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of stock from our Distribution Centre to our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize outbound ordering, prioritization, and capacity utilization to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Retail Operations, and 3PL partners, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage key internal relationships and escalate issues as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the outbound process.
  • Develop and maintain complex reporting to identify opportunities and challenges, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Trade Counters to understand retail requirements and identify opportunities to improve availability and overcome operational challenges.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supply chain operations, with a focus on outbound logistics and planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools.
