We are working with a fantastic Engineering company based in Yeovil, who are looking for a Sales Coordinator for this permanent role. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for making outbound calls and responding to incoming calls from existing or new customers.

Within this role, you will also be processing orders, creating quotations, liaising internally to get the right information, and following up with customers to ensure the sales cycle is complete. You'll generate purchase orders, ensure internal administration is complete, and respond to email requests.

We're looking for someone with experience in sales calls and business development, preferably from an Engineering or Tooling background. You should be able to put quotes together, manage customers, and develop their business. You must be articulate and confident to speak to people on the phone and face-to-face, and competent at following a process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls and respond to incoming calls from existing or new customers
  • Process orders and create quotations
  • Liaise internally to get the right information
  • Follow up with customers to ensure the sales cycle is complete
  • Generate purchase orders and ensure internal administration is complete
  • Respond to email requests

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales calls and business development
  • Ability to put quotes together
  • Ability to manage customers and develop their business
  • Articulate and confident communication skills
  • Competent at following a process
