Overview

Screwfix is a leading retailer in the UK, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a DC Outbound Planner. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of stock from our distribution centers to our stores.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize outbound inventory levels and reduce stockouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop reports to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with 3PL providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of stock.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
