Retail Security Supervisor
We invite you to leverage your expertise and enthusiasm for retail to continuously enhance our customer service delivery.
Collaborating with the team, you will foster a culture of risk management by being commercially savvy, while effectively establishing a welcoming, safe, and secure shopping and working atmosphere. Your presence will be vital in safeguarding the store and minimizing inventory loss.
As an integral member of the store team, you will serve as a point of contact for customers and visitors, welcoming, guiding, and advising them while remaining alert to any potential threats to the store. You will also engage in activities that promote a culture of loss prevention, such as training the store team, analyzing targeted data, conducting risk assessments, and building strong relationships with external partners.
Your role will involve assisting store management in ensuring a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers. By working closely with the team, you will identify and communicate risks, perform safety and security inspections, report findings, and act as a deterrent on the sales floor.
You will ensure that company policies and standards are consistently upheld throughout the store.
Qualifications
About You:
- Proven experience in a retail setting is essential
- A capable leader, able to organize your own schedule and delegate tasks as necessary
- Dedicated to collaborating as part of a large store team
- Self-driven and always prepared to take initiative
- A confident communicator who can cultivate strong relationships with store teams, visitors, and customers
- Attentive and skilled at identifying risks and de-escalating challenging situations
