NFU Mutual is seeking a highly skilled IT Software Asset Manager to play a pivotal role in our large multi-year transformation programme. As a key member of our Software Asset Management centre of excellence, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's software assets are optimised, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise software assets across the organisation, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective asset management strategies to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals to deliver on business-as-usual service and support the organisation's move to a cloud-centric operation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate with vendors, interpret licensing terms and conditions, and resolve complex licence issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organisation remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and driving business outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of software licensing models, particularly for large vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
