Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Complaints Advisor to handle inbound customer service complaint calls, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work in a team environment, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer service complaint calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Deliver timely and effective resolutions to customer complaints, either via email or phone.
- Prioritize and clear the queue of customer complaints, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Provide clear and concise information to customers, demonstrating a high level of product knowledge and confidence.
- Work in line with company standards and service level agreements, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Utilize in-house systems to log calls and amendments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication with customers.
Requirements
- Strong customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Complaint Handling &/or Life & Pensions experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to investigate the root cause of issues and provide effective and empathetic resolutions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters in a simple and supportive way.
- Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel), with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise letters to customers.
