About the Role:

HCC-Temps Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. As a leading temp agency, we connect talented professionals with healthcare and hospitality clients across the UK for immediate cover, holiday cover, and sickness cover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Create and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality dishes.
  • Culinary Leadership: Collaborate with kitchen staff and other chefs to deliver exceptional food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Management: Instruct and supervise co-workers in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Infection Prevention & Control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect and manage stock to meet established standards and policy, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety Certificates and Valid HACCP Certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Skills: Awareness of manual handling techniques and COSHH regulations.
