About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Decarbonization Specialist to join our team at Cognibox. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our members in achieving their sustainability goals and reducing their carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and informative workshops and webinars on sustainability and decarbonization to our members and the wider public.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our members' business operations and sustainability ambitions.
  • Collaborate with our Strategy and Communications specialists to support members on their net zero journey.
  • Facilitate key conversations and events for our members, focusing on net zero targets, decarbonization innovation, and supplier engagement.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest sustainability and climate news, frameworks, and policy to enable informed conversations with members.
  • Record data and outputs from learning and engagement activities in our systems.
  • Report on relevant KPIs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in business sustainability and decarbonization solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of what Net Zero means for business and scopes of emissions.
  • Experience in public speaking, hosting, and facilitation roles both in person and virtually.
  • Understanding of GHG Protocol and SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard.
  • Sector-specific knowledge involving global supply chains would be desirable.
  • Proficient use of online communication platforms (mainly Zoom and Teams), Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
