Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Securing New Partnerships: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the education, charities, and student sectors.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing insurance solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Conferences and Events: Attend relevant conferences and events to generate new business opportunities and network with potential clients.
  • Sales Forecasts: Provide accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems.
  • Team Support: Support the wider team with managing relationships with key partners and delivering an exceptional new business customer experience.
  • Insurance Solutions: Provide insurance solutions to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
  • Lead Generation: Identify opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B and provide introductions and support for the cross-sell process.

Requirements:

  • Insurance Knowledge: Understand general and legal principles of insurance.
  • Regulatory Frameworks: Understand the relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Insurance Sales Experience: Knowledge of insurance sales gained in a broker or insurer environment.
  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the insurance industry.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused approach with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independence and Initiative: Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Flexibility and Organisation: Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets with good organisation skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literate.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage your own diary and workload effectively and work to tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • Communication Styles: Ability to understand people and build rapport and adapt styles of communication.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Pressure Management: Calm and resilient under pressure.
