Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

As a Cardiothoracic Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care to cardiothoracic transplant patients. You will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.

You will have the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge under the guidance of our Practice Education teams, ward mentors, and nursing development team. We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment that fosters professional growth and development.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with active NMC registration and the ability to practice within the scope of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. You will have good basic level of English and excellent verbal communication skills.

Desirable criteria include placements in acute clinical areas and a willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
