Cardiothoracic Nurse Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated nurse to join our cardiothoracic team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a Staff Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and treatment.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to cardiothoracic patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Participate in the education and training of junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Ability to practice within the scope of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Good basic level of English and excellent verbal communication skills.
