Cardiothoracic Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Transplant Unit at Harefield Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care to cardiothoracic transplant patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to cardiothoracic transplant patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and patient education.
- Participating in handovers, ward rounds, and other team meetings to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to practice within the scope of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Good basic level of English and excellent verbal communication skills.
