Job Title: School Site Manager

St John's CE Primary and Nursery School is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of School Site Manager. This is a temporary position for 1 year, with the possibility of becoming permanent if successful.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unlocking the school in the morning and ensuring the site is clean and secure
  • Locking the school in the afternoon and ensuring it is secured after all teachers have left the site
  • Undertaking general caretaking and maintenance duties
  • Reporting items needing repair
  • Working with the school's cleaning company to maintain internal and external areas
  • Assisting in the decoration of the school
  • Supporting at community events
  • Maintaining the school's grounds
  • Advising and collaborating with the Headteacher and Head of School to develop and improve internal and external areas
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Coordinating drills for fire safety, lockdown, and evacuation procedures
