About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Construction Specialist to join our team at K&T Heating Services, part of the Sureserve Group. As a key member of our installation department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of heating installations and related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation of new boilers and related equipment
  • Complete a range of tasks including boxing in pipework, tiling, ceiling repairs, making good, and painting
  • Work closely with the Area Manager and admin teams to provide assistance to install engineers
  • Assist with vertical flues, including adding bracing to the loft and weathering lead slate into the roof
  • Build timber boxing under boilers where required
  • Assist with the installation of ASHPs, including building concrete bases, lifting floorboards, and constructing new cupboards
  • Record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used, capturing this information on our PDA/I.T system
  • Liaise with the Area Manager/admin teams to inform residents of the timescale for completion of any further works
Requirements
  • City & Guilds multi-trade/building qualification or relevant experience
  • Ability to work flexibly, including outside normal working hours as needed
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
