Elevation Accountancy and Finance is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices, maintaining and reconciling credit cards, and performing daily bank postings and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Reconcile credit card statements and ensure timely payments
  • Perform daily bank postings and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
  • Maintain direct debit accounts and ensure costs are recognized in the correct nominal codes
  • Process specific ad-hoc purchase invoices as required
  • Raise sales invoices and applications in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in accounting or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply commercial knowledge day-to-day
  • Effective communication skills to convey information to finance staff at all levels
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Critical thinking skills to improve processes and procedures

What We Offer:

A competitive salary between £23-£25k DOE, with a hybrid working pattern after a probation period (2 days WFH / 3 days office). Interviews will be held as soon as possible.
