Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the UK HR function to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business, implementing HR strategies and objectives that are aligned to the overall global business strategy.
  • Partner with senior leaders to coach, develop, and upskill them on day-to-day employee issues such as absence, learning and development, succession planning, and talent management.
  • Develop and manage a small HR team, supporting their development and growth, and advising managers on employee relations issues, managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management processes.
  • Provide guidance to management on learning and development for their teams, implementing a training and development agenda, and managing the recruitment process to ensure a great candidate experience.
  • Manage all compensation and benefit activities, including participation in salary and benefit surveys, benefit reviews, and benefit updates.
  • Update all policies, handbooks, procedures, and processes to ensure they are up-to-date and in line with current employment law and best practice.
  • Support global change and organizational development projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of managing HRBP's and a broad generalist background, with a strong understanding of HR operations and strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle various projects.
  • Experience of working in a commercial manufacturing business would be advantageous.

A competitive salary between £80,000 and £90,000, plus car allowance and benefits, and the opportunity to work with a purpose-led, people-focused business.
