Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Governance team as a PSIRF Regulator. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support for key governance meetings, including the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and with external stakeholders such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide vital administrative support for key governance meetings, including the PSIRF and with external stakeholders such as the CQC and ICB.
  • Manage diaries for the Associate Directors and their deputies, ensuring effective scheduling and coordination of meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage follow-up actions for meetings, including complex discussions related to safety and governance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documents are appropriately filed, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with governance standards.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Person Specification

Qualifications and Education

  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willingness to work towards.
  • Word Processing to RSA III standard or equivalent experience.
  • Good General Education to GCSE standard or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience

  • A level of knowledge and expertise gained either through practical experience or theoretical study of a broad range of techniques in relation to management and leadership of an administration team in a healthcare environment.
  • Significant previous PA experience.
  • Advanced level and extensive experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and internet usage.
  • Experience of managing busy diaries and general office practice.
  • Experience of working in a busy office, managing own workloads.
  • Experience of working with the public.
