Job Title: Finance and Payroll Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Officer to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of monthly payroll and related activities.
- Process payroll information, including starters, leavers, amendments, and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Post monthly payroll to the accounting ledger and perform a reconciliation of actual payroll to the ledger.
- Ensure the accounting ledger accurately reflects statutory and pension-related payments.
- Run and submit the Monthly Reconciliation Report, identifying and rectifying errors as necessary.
- Run and submit the monthly Local Government Pension Scheme return, identifying and rectifying errors as necessary.
- Reconcile employee budgeting systems to monthly payroll, year-to-date payroll, and the ledger.
- Support the purchase ledger process, raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and generating payment runs.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll and pension administration.
- Experience in finance.
- Grade C or upward in Maths and English.
