Job Title: Finance and Payroll Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Officer to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and verify the accuracy of monthly payroll and related activities.
  2. Process payroll information, including starters, leavers, amendments, and salary sacrifice schemes.
  3. Post monthly payroll to the accounting ledger and perform a reconciliation of actual payroll to the ledger.
  4. Ensure the accounting ledger accurately reflects statutory and pension-related payments.
  5. Run and submit the Monthly Reconciliation Report, identifying and rectifying errors as necessary.
  6. Run and submit the monthly Local Government Pension Scheme return, identifying and rectifying errors as necessary.
  7. Reconcile employee budgeting systems to monthly payroll, year-to-date payroll, and the ledger.
  8. Support the purchase ledger process, raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and generating payment runs.
  9. Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in payroll and pension administration.
  2. Experience in finance.
  3. Grade C or upward in Maths and English.
