About the Role

The Regional Creative Manager plays a crucial role in driving the creative vision for Mattel's Global Consumer Products team. This position is responsible for developing and implementing creative strategies that align with the company's brand vision and regional market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide creative direction and support to priority regional licensees and programs
  • Develop regional category toolkits and inspiration based on brand vision and market trends
  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging consumer and licensing trends and apply this knowledge in work
  • Review and provide feedback on marketing materials for priority regional licensees and programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure creative consistency and consistency with global brand guidelines
  • Manage logistical aspects of projects, including project tracking and sharing within the organization

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Design or relevant experience
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Licensing, Product, or Toy design
  • Experience working on a global team or business
  • Brand approvals experience, including experience with Brand Comply or similar tools
  • Creative design or product development background; Hardlines experience is an asset
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with online Data Asset Management (DAM) systems
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and brands simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the Consumer Products industry (Branding, Design, Advertising)
