The RoleWe are seeking a commercially driven Senior Category Manager from FMCG to help this business grow the function. This is an incredible opportunity to implement real change and lead the strategy, focusing on the customer.
- Redefine customer strategies and stories - this is your key responsibility.
- Take full budgetary responsibility and make recommendations using category insight, working closely with Sales and wider Marketing teams.
- Work with Customer Marketing and member hubs to understand market and category dynamics and form retail customer plans to take advantage of opportunities or mitigate risks.
- Closely partner with media teams on potential media integration and analysis.
You will already have a strong background in Category Management in branded food or consumer business and have a minimum of 5 years of experience for this position.
- Experience in building insight-led projects within a commercial team.
- FMCG big business or large branded training background.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
- Bundles of energy, ambition, and creativity.
- Strong leadership skills, both internally and externally, to entice people to join the team.
