Brackenberry Ltd is currently seeking a skilled IT Business Solutions Analyst to support a Local Authority in enhancing their operational efficiency through effective IT solutions. This role is available on a 3-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension depending on the client's requirements. The position offers a competitive pay rate of £16.63 per hour.

Role Overview:

  • Oversee the entire application lifecycle of financial IT solutions, with a particular emphasis on the Oracle financial system.
  • Work collaboratively with the Information & Technology team to ensure cohesive support and development of business solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that new products and services align with established policies and strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for communication with vendors and key stakeholders, upholding internal controls for solution security and integrity.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to tailor systems to meet specific business requirements.
  • Deliver front-line support and development in line with established standards.
  • Manage integrations with other solutions to guarantee data validation and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing Management Information Systems and Digital Solutions.
  • Educational qualifications in management information systems or equivalent experience in a complex work environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement at all organizational levels.
  • Strong team player with adept negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and manage data manipulation tasks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Immediate availability or a short notice period.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K.
  • Basic DBS certification.
