Damicor Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal position, you will oversee the estimating division, ensuring that projects are accurately priced, executed efficiently, and completed within the allocated budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to facilitate effective tendering and project execution.
- Conduct Tender Enquiry processes, addressing both commercial and technical elements while upholding our commitment to non-collusion.
- Identify and document project risks through a comprehensive risk register.
- Offer technical expertise, guidance, and support for bids, including the development of tender programmes and methodologies.
- Perform site assessments as needed to grasp tender specifications.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with industry contacts and clients.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess an electrical background, preferably as a Qualified Electrician or with an Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Required Skills and Attributes:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Capable of establishing and nurturing supplier relationships to obtain competitive pricing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal, written, and numerical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment.
