About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Meals division as a Production Manager, where you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of production staff. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and Developing Your Team: Ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) and efficiency targets are achieved, and provide coaching and mentoring to your team to drive performance and improve engagement and morale.
- Operational Excellence: Proactively review operational trends and performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery of the production plan.
- Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvements in your team and ensure all colleagues are motivated and equipped to perform to the best of their ability.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
About You:
We are looking for a Production Manager who can deliver operational targets and drive behavioural change. The ideal candidate will have:
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and improving production teams in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in chilled meals.
- Results Focus: Demonstrable experience of successfully meeting KPIs and implementing new processes to drive improvements.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to use data to make informed decisions and improve performance.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team and engage with people to deliver change.
