Job Summary:

Silven, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product development lifecycle from initial concept through to successful product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept to Launch: Develop and implement strategies to bring new products to market, ensuring they meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
  • Innovation Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to create innovative food products, leveraging industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, identifying new opportunities for product development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a New Product Development (NPD) role, with proven experience in managing the full product development cycle.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in food manufacturing, ideally within the chilled food sector, but experience in any food category will be considered.
