Product Development Engineer

Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Managing the qualification and approval process
  • Creating and maintaining detailed engineering documentation

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, commercial, and manufacturing teams

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Product development processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques
  • Experience with product lifecycle methodologies
  • Hand-on experience with prototyping and testing
  • Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering or a related field) or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
