Job Summary:
We're seeking a talented Head Chef to join our team at The Greyhound in Carshalton. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for creating innovative, seasonal menus that showcase the best of British cuisine. You'll work closely with our chefs to develop new dishes, manage kitchen operations, and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement seasonal menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff scheduling
- Collaborate with our chefs to develop new dishes and menu ideas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
- Monitor and control kitchen costs, including food, labor, and supplies
- Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience
