About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at The Greyhound Pub & Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation, ensuring that dishes are consistently of the highest standard.
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are achieving our targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring that we are receiving the best possible products.
  • Participate in our CDP - Sous Chef development programme, which provides opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef, with a passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges, with a proactive approach to driving sales and delivering growth.
