We are looking for a dedicated Team Lead to become a vital part of our exceptional team at Hafod. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of our care facility.

This is a permanent role requiring 35.25 hours of night shifts. This opportunity is exclusively available to current Hafod employees.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist the management team in ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centered care for our residents. Your responsibilities will include managing referrals and liaising with external organizations. You will also help in creating staff schedules, tracking annual leave, and preparing necessary documentation for service users, along with reporting and managing relevant data. Additionally, you will supervise and support team members in their daily responsibilities, maintaining a flexible and collaborative approach.

Qualifications Required

A strong background in a care environment is essential, along with a solid understanding of care regulations. You should possess a Level 5 QCF Adult Residential Management qualification or be in the process of obtaining it, and be registered with Social Care Wales or actively applying for registration. Excellent communication skills are a must, enabling you to build positive relationships. You should be adept at prioritizing tasks and confidently using your initiative to resolve issues or escalate them when necessary.

Our care home is a thoughtfully designed, single-storey facility dedicated to providing a high quality of life for residents aged over 65. We have 56 rooms across three distinct living areas, focusing on catering to the diverse needs and abilities of our residents.
