Senior Piping Designer Job Description

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join their team in Reading. This role will involve working on onshore oil & gas and petrochemical projects, utilizing 3D S3D Software and 2D Microstation software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop piping systems for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with discipline assigned personnel to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to colleagues as required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with agreed budget and schedule.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical developments, national and international standards, and legislative requirements related to the discipline scope.
Requirements:
  • ONC or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject is essential.
  • HNC or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject is desirable.
  • Experience of working with remote execution centers is desirable.
  • Ability to carry out onshore site surveys in accordance with Wood Health & Safety requirements.
  • Computer literate with database and spreadsheet skills.
