Senior Piping Designer Job Description

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join their team in Reading. This role will involve working on onshore oil & gas and petrochemical projects, utilizing 3D S3D Software and 2D Microstation software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop piping systems for oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel.
  • Collaborate with remote execution centres.
  • Maintain good communication with clients.
  • Develop and maintain discipline filing systems.
  • Ensure designs meet agreed budget and schedule.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical developments and legislative requirements.
Requirements:
  • ONC or equivalent in an engineering subject.
  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering subject (desirable).
  • Experience with 3D S3D Software and 2D Microstation software.
  • Ability to work on Brownfield modification projects.
  • Computer literacy (database/spreadsheets).
