Piping Design Lead

**Job Summary**

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piping designs that meet our clients' needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement piping design solutions that meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and engineers.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with Wood's health and safety requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed design documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve design quality.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet their needs.

**Requirements**

  • ONC or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject.
  • HNC or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject (desirable).
  • Proven experience in piping design using 2D Microstation and 3D S3D software.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD design software and piping design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
