The Sterling Choice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the construction and trade supply industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a sales professional who can drive sales growth, build strong relationships with customers, and lead a team to achieve exceptional results. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Nurturing Existing Customers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our existing customer base, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support.
  • Driving Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and implement plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Leading the Team: Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve exceptional results, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, using this information to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the sales team is operating efficiently, effectively, and in line with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Sales Experience: A strong track record of sales success in the construction or trade supply industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience of leading and managing a team, with a proven ability to motivate and develop sales professionals.
  • Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business operations, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
